CJ,     Go to fish Tales bait shop in Oshkosh, get red spikes and Rosey red minnows and ask for directions to Asylum Bay,a few miles from there.

Cloudy 37°
Arrived at Cowling to a full parking lot this morning.  I actually got the last stall. Drove wheeler out today. Hit a different spot about 0.7 miles out. Immediately got a decent perch and a big crappie. Sat that spot out all day.Every mark bit today.Fished tip ups and jigging. They ate whatever was in front of them.Got a few on tip ups and most jigging. Bait, no bait, didn't matter. They were hungry. Just not big numbers. Very sporadic. Got one days limit between yesterday and today. Still fun. Ice only has a few days left with these Temps coming.Stay ssfe.

Foggy 37°
Ice: 10"
I was off of Gladwater ( just north of pipe)today.  Had 10 inches of ice- approximately. Ice was chunky, coming off the auger.  Wheelers are traveling all over out there, but they are driving slower than normal. Which is a smart thing to do with these temperatures. As for a report.. I had some lookers, but no bits. Not great. My brother had a mark high, so he quickly moved the lure up and got a sheepshead. So that was my day.

Raining 37°
Ice: 11"
Fished out of Cowling Bay today from 9 t0 1:00. Ice was 10" to 12" and easy to cut. Starting to get soft. Fished 1.25 miles out. 11 fow. Wheelers out to about 1.5 miles today. Camera was the key for me today. Marked fish on vex that seemed to be sniffers. Put camera down and they were doing the old suck and spit trick. Rod tip never moved.Taste testing. So I just waited till I saw them suck it in and set the hook. Small pink and orange tear drop with red spike. Heading back tomorrow. Lots of water on ice. Need cleets and water tight boots.

I did a west shore ice conditions report last week so I figured it was only right to check out the east shore ice. I visited Pipe, Brothertown, Quinney, and Stockbridge. Tight lines and be safe out there!

Plenty of parking at Wendts. I don't think they come in that shallow unit they spawn, usually another 3 weeks from now.
