Never ice fished Bago before and am looking for easy access on Asylum for an old guy. Preferably South Asylum. Thanks.

Guys, I had the same thing happen as Cole M on Big Cedar last week. Measured 8" on 1/27 and then measured 9" in the same hole on 2/4. Surprised me as well with all the warm weather. 

Interesting that it made an inch of ice.

Gained an inch of ice off black wolf this week. The holes we drilled last week had a inch of ice in them 11inch total last week we had 10 inches

Even if it got to 10 degrees for a stretch hard to believe it would make much of a difference with the crappy ice that's there. My opinion. 

Things hardened up today alot better than expected ,shore ,shallow water is crap but its harder, the ice may make it to next saturday now, even if its crappy . if you are able to walk on it  or not, idk ,After all the rain and 48 degrees coming. But at least now there is hope, it wont be completely gone by next sat. and have to start over .

This lake is gonna be wide open by end of next week.

Was on the west side yesterday in a small bay and still have 6-8inches of black ice and 4inches of junk ice on top, that was a very protected area I can’t speak for the main lake. Only fished the morning but still came out ok. I’ve got a YouTube video explaining how and what I was doing.

temps starting to drop outside it cleared up and was supposed to be cloudy i believe we are gonna go below the 27 degrees they predicted, hopefully to 21 or better .Would rather save our ice then to have to start over .just like years of rain a cold day or two after and all was well .
