Mostly fish down stream and deeper shorelines. I'm sure there's fish up by the 41 bridge but it gets pretty weedy this time of year.

Polski, thanks for the report.  Use to fish the river a lot above and below the 41 bridge.  Are you casting this shallower water a fishing deeper down stream.

My wife and I went fishing last night for the 1st time in a few weeks. Fished from 8 till midnight casting crank baits as usual. Still lots of bait fish jumping all over after dark which I believe are alewives although we didn't snag any. We each got two eyes, 16" , 18" 21" and 23". My wife got the biggest and smallest. Didn't think about a picture but just cut off the fillets at the fish cleaning station and finished them at home today, nice night.

How’s the bite been last couple days? 

River is clearing up. Landings are open.  Spawn is still going. Caught 38 today. Mix of spawned out and egg laden females and milking males. Current is still fast. All fish caught in slack water and where the current mix with the slack water areas. 

What are the river conditions?  Are the landings open back up?

Marinette Marine built 16 of the 31 ships. They started building the 1st one in 2007 so roughly one a year. They are going to build a new Navy Frigate now, roughly 200 feet longer than the LCS.
The gates at the dam we're wide open yesterday, water has come up a couple feet over the last week. Eyes (and suckers) are still getting caught and some off shore.
