Free State Of Jones

I love Matthew McConaughey anyway, but had never heard of this one. Very interesting just ahead of election Tuesday, showing history of KKK and real voter suppression.

The Good Liar with Helen Mirren. I watched it on a flight from Phoenix to Milwaukee last Monday. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5563334/

I agree it was corny in a good way lol. I’ll be vague to not spoil it for anyone but I liked the part in the locker room with the hand rub fix shoulder move lol.

If you grew up in the 80s and remember Karate Kid, Cobra Kai is the bomb! I absolutely love it! Flashbacks to the original, decent action, and it's funny on top of it. Plus most of the original characters are in it, and they pay tribute to Pat Morita (Miyagi) who passed in 05. Great show! Reminds me of when I was young, which is a good thing.

We loved both seasons of Cobra Kai. Corny? Hell yeah! In a perfect sort of way. Can't wait for Season 3.

Watched both seasons of Cobra Kai on Netflix. I’ll just say ol’ Johnny and Daniel son didn’t get  any better at acting now that they’re older! It had its moments but overall was kinda corny.

Not my favorite, but I like K. Costner. If we’re talking about his best  roles don’t forget him as Charlie Waite in Open Range. To me that is a great movie with lots of good acting. Kostner held his own with Robert Duvall and I felt nailed his part.

You the one killed our friend?
That’s right. I shot the boy, and I enjoyed it...
BOOM!

Duvall on the other hand, probably is my all-time favorite actor. Man is he great.

+1 on Backwards vote for Lonesome Dove, another great Duvall role. What an amazing amount of acting talent in that mini-series.

Beth is a hoot!

Have any of you seen the Director's Cut version of Dances With Wolves? My wife bought it for me a few years ago. I've only watched it once because it's 4 hours long. But the extra hour's worth of scenes made some things in the movie make way more sense. Worth the watch if you have the time.

IMO Yellowstone gets better in season 2 and 3. Season 1 had so many story lines introduced that would never actually happen in reality it was almost laughable!

How can you not love Beth?!!
