What are some good movies ethier in theater or to rent
I just got done watching Dark Waters. Very Good! One reason I hate the word deregulation! Another reason I believe had an impact on Fox Conn development. Fox Conn was to build their own water treatment facility before returning the water to the lake. I just feel that when the DNR said that they ALSO would be monitoring the water full time, something changed! BTW 90% of all water in China is contaminated!
This time of year I always watch The Saint Valentines Day Massacre (1967) starring Jason Robards. I admit it’s bloated and dated but it’s still worth a watch if you like old movies, mob movies, or anything about Capone and the true story of the massacre. I recommend if you have not seen. 87% Rotten Tomatoes.
I'm anxiously awaiting the digital release of The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone on Tuesday. I loved Parts 1 and 2 but never watched 3 because of how much criticism it received. I didn't want it to ruin the brilliance of the first two movies. From what I read, Coppola got it right this time now that he had more control over the editing.
But this begs the question. Will this set the precedence for the 'Do-Over'? Hollywood has already run through most of the classics with remakes. It seems that originality costs too much these days.
