The wife wanted to see “Cruella” so we went last night, it was pretty good.

I just got done watching Dark Waters. Very Good! One reason I hate the word deregulation! Another reason I believe had an impact on Fox Conn development. Fox Conn was to build their own water treatment facility before returning the water to the lake. I just feel that when the DNR said that they ALSO would be monitoring the water full time, something changed! BTW 90% of all water in China is contaminated!

Hard to say since I never watched the original Godfather III. It was OK for me. Still not anywhere in the same universe as the first two but worth the watch.

I finally got to watch Ford v Ferrari yesterday. That was a fun movie to watch especially if you're into mid-60's muscle cars. My wife even enjoyed it.

This time of year I always watch The Saint Valentines Day Massacre (1967) starring Jason Robards. I admit it’s bloated and dated but it’s still worth a watch if you like old movies, mob movies, or anything about Capone and the true story of the massacre. I recommend if you have not seen. 87% Rotten Tomatoes.

If you can get hands on it Green Slime. 60s classic. Watched it as a kid and as an adult bought the DVD when it was released again. Anyone remember this one?

Green room. John Luke Pikard is an Aryan leader kind of a slasher thriller. Turned out to be way better than I thought some really good acting and a little suspense.

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood.

Not even on the same planet as far as what I expected from this movie. But I really, really liked it. Wife did too.

Not true. Warner Bros announced simultaneous release to both theaters and streaming in 2021.

Looks like no new movies in theaters in 2021. Hillbilly Elegy on Netflix.

I'm anxiously awaiting the digital release of The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone on Tuesday. I loved Parts 1 and 2 but never watched 3 because of how much criticism it received. I didn't want it to ruin the brilliance of the first two movies. From what I read, Coppola got it right this time now that he had more control over the editing.

But this begs the question. Will this set the precedence for the 'Do-Over'? Hollywood has already run through most of the classics with remakes. It seems that originality costs too much these days.

Bad Santa... definitely 10xbetter unedited... but not for children's consumption...adults can deal with the evil side of humanity...mostly,  but children should not be expected to understand it just for ironic humor
