Lake Geneva

Fished Geneva Bay 10am-6pm today.  7”-8” of ice everywhere we drilled.  Ended the day with one gill, one walleye, and one pike.  Saw some fish on the camera throughout the day but nothing was biting.  Pretty much the same for everyone I talked to while on the ice.

Thanks WormO2!  I have fished there before, but did not know it was Trinkies.

It can be a tricky lake to fish,water is gin clear. But can also be a very rewarding lake. Be careful where you go, because depth and ice thickness changes pretty quick in some areas...

Trinkies is the hillside road launch, east end on the flats. 

I have heard a lot about Trinkies, but I cannot find it on google map.  Can someone respond with the location?  Thank You!

Out here now.  7+ inches everywhere.   Some shove ice is rough and some smooth.   In front of library is all smooth.

Lots of smaller perch will only hit in vertical presentation nothing on jigs.  Few in the 7-8" range  They are piled up under my dead stick and scatter when predators come through.   1x17.25 and 1x 18.5 walleye on 1/8th red spoon plus fathead head.  27.5 fow

Update 445pm.  Moved into 12ft at 345.  Took an hour to determine they want small red jig with red beaver tail.  Got 2 so far.
