Does anyone know if Ceylon lagoon or any of the other surrounding smaller lakes have safe ice?

I was in Geneva for work today. I saw multiple guys out. Shore line on Bigfoot Beach looked good. Shore line wasnt terrible by the library but be careful. There are some ugly spots. Looked best to get on by the Cove. That looked pretty solid. Watched a couple guys walk out together from there. Was a breeze.

I was out Wednesday afternoon 2-6. Went out by the library. Tough pull with no snow on the grass. Easy pull on the ice. Slick like an Otters Whoo Haa. Wear your cleats. There werent hardly anything in the bay. I live scoped the whole thing. Very few marks. Mostly small perch coming through the hole. Managed a flag. Was a quick 4 hours hole hopping. Had 8 inches almost everywhere. Ice is chunky and getting soft on top. Auger tossing ice cubes. Ugly jagged holes.

Be careful out there. I wouldnt bring my kids right now. Its about over boyz. Tight Linez!

Was out yesterday Fontana launch was open the ice line was east of cedar I fished trout in 4 areas only marked a couple nothing active did some looking marked a couple in 100 plus then went shallow looking found a few great weedbeds in 8 to 12ft lots of walleyes lying around. I could see bottom in 28ft way cool will be doing guides as long as the launches remain open ( Williams bay should open ) soon. As far as ice thickness I will not say as I have not been on it. Please be safe.

Just wondering if there was an incident on Geneva this past Sunday...in Williams Bay....I saw several emergency vehicles headed that way and they were bringing the air boat.

It’s been awhile the ice is best in Geneva bay 7 inches but the ice at the launch is very rough it gets easier out a ways found perch under 30ft nothing big I did land a 24 inch laker in 59 ft shinners and perch then gone up she came great start went back marked 5 nothing biting. Have not been on trinkies ice looks good anglers out a ways. Linn is walkable but be careful that was the last to freeze. If you want to get out the time is here give me a call.

This should help the guy looking for Trinkes. Go down Hillside to the ramp. Look to the left and right  at the water. That's Trinkes. To the right almost to Big Foot Beach is also referred to as the Flats. There's a subdivision on the west side of Hillside named Trinkes. One must be named after the other.
