Technically speaking, aren't barge anglers fishing from a boat?

Fished clements floatMonday and Wednesday mostly small males a few nice ones mixed in they definitely spawning males milting and females were dumping eggs. It definitely gets to many people on the float needs to be a limit because if don't get a decent spot might as well go home 

I give shore fisherman space.

 

Just my two cents. If you are fishing in a boat you have access to the whole river and there is no reason to cut off opportunities to the people shore fishing or from the barge.

 

Friend just got off the water and said fish are biting but may take awhile to get a limit. Crawlers were best today. GOOD LUCK 

I was on the Mississippi this past weekend, ended Saturday with good numbers of perch, had one over 13inches. Dead sticks seemed to be the way to go on Saturday however Sunday casting and retrieving a minnow was the ticket for us. Good luck to everyone still fishing the perch
