Great Lake probably the best lake in this region of Texas. Has plenty of species of fish and very active water birds and other water reptiles. All the signs of a clean and active lake. The lake community is awesome as well, lots of places to park and camp along the water edge. Lots of good fishing at any of the open bank spots and docks. Dedicated police patrol the lake and help with any questions. Campers and fishermen alike are very friendly and willing to share tips. Water level is great! Much better than other lakes in the area. Lake is close to Lubbock also.
