The lake is at 9200 ft give or take a few feet. It's a full day hike or ride (horse), and a bit rugged, without much time for fishing. No forage near lake for horses. We did not see a fish rise or any along the shore. Tight trees to shore with steep sides. Tough back caste, if windy like the day we went up, its tough fly fishing. We were told the lake is lacking in fish and has not been stocked in a long time. We did not get the chance to test that information. On the plus side it is a beautiful trip and lake. We did see a Grizzly sow with her cub. It is the Griz home, so be aware.
