Zone 3 , real slow .  I'm getting a few gobbles but just to call . Not in response  .

On the other hand had hundreds of cranes around  me . Maybe the turkeys  were afraid of all their noise  !!!

Brother's girlfriend got her first one this morning, about 300 yards from where I got mine. Big bird

25lb 10 1/2 inch beard and inch spurs.

Then got a call from another buddy, that he shot a big one as well.

Wish I could be back out today!

Zone 1. Birds started gobbling at 5:40 am. The group roosted near me flew down and stayed down in the valley next to me instead of coming up to the field I was on. Will be out again tomorrow. Dane County.

Zone 4, shot this one at 7:55 this morning (had to be to work at 9) called him and another Tom across two fields. Shot him at 15 yards behind my Tom strutter decoy. Snow is very loud and crunchy but birds were going nuts all morning. Had a flock of about 50 I was watching. These two crossed the street and I was able to pull them onto my property.

20lb, 10 inch beard, 3/4 spurs. First bird in 5 years.

Wow...central Wisconsin zone 3..

Extremely difficult getting around with all the snow...noisey....noisey...noisey....me and my dad....had 2 jakes at 15 yards but my dad didn't shoot but it was fun...tons of gobbling and yelping...we were on a big flock of about 50 birds with about 1/3 being legal shooters....the snow is going to be a major hurdle...good luck to all the brave...gobble gobble
