Time to talk BREWERS!!!!
3/30/02 @ 9:29 AM
Yeah I know baseball is ruined and ther Brewerw are almost as severly hampered by Princess Prieb as they are the lack of revenue sharing, but Im still excited. I am probably crazy but I think the Crew should be .500 this year and if Sheets, Wright, Quevedo, and Nuegebaur pitch up to their potential and we dont swing at everything, I think the crew can win 90 and be in the wild card race late, which is something we havent seen in a long, long time. They must finish over .500 to avoid 10 years straight of losing seasons. I think it is time for a coup to remove Princess Prieb.

According to the post game guys I listened to Bill Schroeder, runner from third could not advance but batter Bauer swinging 3rd strike should do have been able to run to first! Murphy got ejected over this! I'll look for a more reliable source to confirm this tomorrow!
It was the right call like it or not

Anybody know if the minors have some arms?
Plenty of arms Just not sure if we will get much help from the farm system this year.
Probably the closest guy is Robert Gasser (came in the Hader trade). He is one of our better prospects but was on the IL for a while and just started pitching again. I heard Murphy talk about him a week ago and it sounded like he might be an option to come up. Their best prospect is Jacob Misiorowski (#1 pick) who has just great stuff but probably still needs at least another year in the minors. They have several other pitchers in their top-25 prospects but I do not believe any are really ready yet. I don't pay that much attention to the minor league system so someone else may have better updates.
