Did you know there is a word spelt incorrectly in every dictionary out there?

Edit: Actually,  I just thought of another one spelt wrong.

I did not know this. The local guy that supplies my saws an parts convinced me I can store oils indefinitely.  Normally I dont believe anything I hear but in this case too lazy to check it out and Ive got motor oils on my shelf 5-10 years old

February 3rd, 1959 was for many, "the day the music died", when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper were all killed. Their plane took off a little after 1 AM from Clear Lake, Iowa, when a cold North-East wind gave way to a blinding snow storm which drastically reduced visibility. Encased in a sea of snow with only white below, pilot Roger Peterson seemed to become disoriented and flew the plane into the ground. One wing hit the frozen earth and the small plane tumbled over and over, killing the three musicians and the plane's young pilot.

I'm getting jealous here. Really wanted to do a bunch of pickled pike this year. Bur wifey  wanted crappie fie baking and perch for frying. So I did my husbandly duties. Now I could fish for pike, but my nearby lakes are getting pretty sketchy

I like the smell of pike so I probably would like the smell of your wood burner

Carpio, but the slims gone. Pull the paper that comes off and fillet. Your knife cuts through the soggy paper. I toss the paper in the wood furnace. Works great for me.

On this day
January 28,2016
Two founding members of Jefferson Airplane, lead singer Signe Anderson and guitarist Paul Kantner, die on the same day, both at 74. Anderson left the group in 1966 after recording their first album - she was replaced by Grace Slick.

Clueless.  It becomes one big mess!   The paper becomes part of the skin

My suggestion for filleting pike. Winter fish I roll up in newspaper and fillet the next morning. Newspaper soaks up the slim. Just peel the soggy newspaper off the fish.
