Could anyone provide an updated water level report please? More specifically the lower river toward the Bay. TIA

Here's the footage from the smallmouth bass trip we had on the Peshtigo River.  We fished mainly around the railroad bridge, but we did go downriver and fish one spot with a lot of brush piles. I want to go back to that spot and wade fish some more. Smallies were hanging in the brush and slamming baits as we reeled by.  The biggest were caught in the shallow slack water areas including right by the boat ?launch.

This video is from the weekend before Memorial Day. I did try this weekend and we did catch some really nice smallmouth, so they're in the rivers now. I have to edit that video next. Sturgeon and suckers are still in the river, too. I saw a lot of muskie fishermen and they said the bite was hot Friday, not on Saturday, and then okay on Sunday.

The water on my part of the river (above Potato Rapids dam has been flooded for a month, finally starting to go down a bit. Water below the dam in Peshtigo is high but manageable, could float down all the way to the bay without issues.

No secret the fish have shown up at the dam. Parking lots are full, boat landing filled up and lots parked right on the street. Water has gone back up about a foot with all the melting going on. The high water makes it tough to see fish off the viewing bridge but I saw a few and even a couple sturgeon already. As usual more snagging than catching going on but nothing new there.

Stopped by the dam this afternoon, 60 degrees and very few vehicles. Looking off the viewing platform water is down enough to see bottom in a few places and still no fish

Went out to the mouth of the river and wadded for 2 hours. Had one fish on and off then later caught a big sucker that ate my hair jig. A few boats out there and I never saw any catch a fish. Very strange year, hopefully warm weather this week will help.

Got the boat ready and going to fish Marinette tomorrow.

Still no one fishing at the dam. I saw a few caught out by the mouth of the river where it enters the bay and very few boats out there. Water is high and cold. Maybe by the weekend?
