The number I call for the consolidated river information system has not been working lately.   Does anyone know what's going on with that?

Took daughter out for an evening outing.  We were looking for some gills.  2 minutes in… fish on.  But, not a gill, a nice smallmouth(18”).  Got a few more smallmouth and about 15 gills.  Also caught about 20 white bass 4-6” long.

My son and I fished below the dam yesterday and today.  Smallmouth bass were chasing minnows from 5:30 to 6:45 am.  Used a Mepps Aglia 3 and caught 30 fish in two days.  Great fighters, lots of fun!

The Musky Clubs Alliance of Wisconsin is an alliance of about 25 Wisconsin based musky clubs.  One of the main purposes of the Alliance is to provide an organizational framework in which the clubs can share information and work together to improve the musky fishery.

The Alliance is made up of a board of directors which includes the President, Vice President, Sectretary, Treasurer, and two co-directors.  There is also one representative and alternate from each member club. There are two main meeting a year, one in the spring (April), and one in the fall (November).

The Alliance sponsors two major fund raising events each year to help raise money for the activities of the Alliance and the member clubs.  One fund raiser is the annual boat raffle for a Recon boat & trailer, with a Mercury motor.  The other fund raiser is the annual National Championship Musky Open Tournament held in Eagle River, which is co- sponsored with the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center.

Tough question.  Best launch with great access up and down stream is the landing under hwy 10 bridge.  Better fishing (in my opinion) from Bukolt upstream.  Bukolt is a great landing as well.

I would like to fish this area of the river. Can someone help with what's the best launch and if to go up river or down river from there?

Got out at 5am this morning trolling flicker shades fish where on fire for 2 hours couldn't even keep 2 rods in the water numerous walleyes northern bass and perch showed up one northern over 38 inches slowed along once sun came out

Hot dry conditions persist, water flow very low, But fun had by all,
