Nice job, guys! After checking the weather, I don't think I will be going out in the morning. It looks like the snow will be non-stop.

Cloudy 20°
Ice: 17"
A few crappies from 12-4 this afternoon. 17” of ice by Lisa’s landing drilled probably 30 holes all 17” of ice before landing on some fish and staying put.  Shorelines look scary to me for driving but felt good walking out.  Should be the last east walk out for a while.  Hopefully the wind keeps the snow from getting too deep.

Fished between HWY O and Park from 9 to 2. Caught 12 crappies brought 9 home for a meal. All jigging, nothing on tip downs. Saw 6 other people out. Some were driving full size trucks.

I'm hoping to walk out in the morning. Anyone know how the shorelines are holding up?

Went out again this morning. Had a limit of crappies and 1 legal 'eye by 9ish. I packed up around 11 after trying for more 'eyes. Caught 2 'eyes jigging, and probably 6 or 7 on tip ups. Also caught a smallmouth on a tip up.

There was a bunch of moving water on top of the ice near the Paradise landing. I walked through it and it reached my ankles at the deepest point. I'm not sure how long the landings will hold up for.

Report from Saturday the 18th. Fished from 3-7 PM on the lower part of the flowage. Measured 15.5" ice.

Many lookers, few takers. Caught 3-4 small crappies 8-10" on tungsten with wax worm. All released. Not one single flag the whole 4 hours!

Had a good morning. Got set up in the dark and fished until around 10. Kept 10 crappies and a 15 1/4" 'eye. I only had 3 live minnows left, and caught 3 walleyes on tip ups using them. Only one was legal. I measured 12" of ice. Big thanks to Phil for giving me a ride back to the landing!

ng, remember walking is not crowded. just stay away from shady spots, nice catch, sometimes if your persistent it will pay off.

Should I be concerned about walking out in the dark tomorrow?
