Fisher For Men,
Like others said, there's plenty of wheelchair access throughout lakeshore park and under the Hoan.
It's all concrete pathed, some areas closer to the water than others, but a lot of it butts right up to the water with only a 4ft railing in-between.
If you're going alone, it's gonna be hard, almost impossible to net a fish over the railing if you can't stand up. But, there's often plenty of fishermen there with nets that'd be more than willing to help. Go up to one of them, explain the situation and ask them for a net if you catch a fish. Shouldn't be any issues.
Steelhead and Browns are in the harbor / rivers right now. Most people are catching them on spawn, or spoons like little cleos, kast masters, and white or pearl flukes on a jig head. Sometimes they bite shiners or minnows.
Salmon move in late summer through the fall.

The area under the Hoan Bridge, next to the Summerfest grounds, has an area that is wheel chair accessible. It is concrete and is level with the parking lot and grass.
This time of year you probably won't find salmon, but you will find brown and rainbow trout, burbot and maybe some perch. An occasional pike is another treat.
The salmon really come in around August, but there is a chance to get Coho and an occasional chinook, before then.
Good luck.

Would like to know if there is a place to fish from shore that is handicap accessible (Power wheelchair). I can no long get into a boat so I am stuck on shore. I am up closer to Fond du Lac - Oshkosh area and did not want come down and spend all day looking only to find nothing. Thank you for any information. Almost forgot, about when do they start to catch the trout and salmon from shore?

Wednesday report: Beautiful February day to be on the water. Went 10 for 15 in 6 hours fishing inside the break wall. Middle of the day was quiet. Got fish earlier and later. All browns. Most on spoons and dipseys just above the bottom. More nice weather coming. Get your boats ready!
My evenings are free and id like to try evening fishing down by the lake.
How is it fishing in the evening behind summerfest and the the state park.
Does anyone fish here late towards dark, are there street lights, is it safe?
I believe that area is open untill 10:00 P.M.
