FYI, a little story here, no suggestions of any kind intended just a little info for ppl is all.
About a decade ago I caught a 30+ inch walleye, I took a length measurement only and SEVERAL QUICK pictures from different angles, sadly I couldn't get it back in as it was done. I had caught it on a panfish type fly rod and had to fight it too long to get it in and it was too stressed out. It was great baked! BUT!! I took the measurement and pics and had a fantastic replica made. They can mathematically figure the all around fish measurements from the length measurement and pics.
Morale of story!! You CAN, but DO NOT HAVE TOO, keep the fish to get something really nice looking to hang on the wall.
YES, replicas were a bit more pricey, I think.

Had some luck over this last weekend. Very few fish jigging/casting. Switched to trolling after dark, and the fish were BITING. Had some passes where 3 rods were going off at the same time, all with walleyes. Probably caught over 25+ fish trolling for a few hours. Larger fish were being caught suspended, and the smaller fish seemed closer to the bottom.
Good morning, can someone put the link in for the fishing regs for de Pere? I can’t seem to find them. Or if someone can answer If this past Sunday was the last day to have 3 for a limit? I believe it’s now 1 over 28”, not exactly sure. Thank you in advance for any information
