Fox Lake

Ice conditions for the lake would be much appreciated 

With the amount of ice that was out there last weekend, I highly doubt it has opened up.  Definitely could be water on top the ice though.  Idk I guess I will find out tomorrow. 

Is it true that the lake opened up to open water in spots today?  Heard a rumor, but not sure if it’s true. 

Lunkerhunt, I completely understand you. It makes complete sense that you wouldn't want local businesses supported by us out-of-staters.  Drove by Fox Lake many times with my boat in the past and now I guess I will never stop and fish and support Fox Lake and its businesses because we are not wanted.  Sounds a little silly and nonsensical doesn't it, jeez!!

My guess is, this will be the last weekend to have an opportunity to get on the ice. The forecast shows nothing but warm weather. One of the worst seasons I have ever seen!

Just curious, any guesses on how much ice will melt over the next week with these warmer temps? Thanks.

What is everybody’s favorite way to get to the Jug?

Ohh cripes what a day. Not in a good way let me tell ya. Got out around 9 cuz of my back and it was too late, people right where i want to fish of course!   Anyways not much, especially pan fish wise. Was told good things but saw absolutley no action on the jug.....which sure is curious. Only got on 2 gaters was expecting much more. Ive been fishing here a longg time and somtimes it just aint a good day. Today was that.  Hope the shnaty towns ont get to crazy. Please stay in IL. ​

Slammed the bluegills all day today in the jug. Great day to be out with the warmer weather. They hit just about anything I threw down. Avg size was prob 7 as there were lots of little ones to weed out but I did manage a few 9s
