Docks
bass roaming around blue gill beds (which are spawning).  swim jigs and swim baits seemed to work better.  Bass starting to move to dock,  still pretty spotty as to which ones. several between 15 and 17 inches  CPR  good luck  :) RT

Out Tuesday panfishing the lake.  Found some perch/crappies on a break in 10-14 fow and started catching them good.  Then a pro basser came by and cut me off from the turn I was fishing.  I asked him if he wanted me to move so he could position his boat where mine was and cast to the spot I was more effectively.  He said hey buddy I’m pre fishing for a tournament.  These guys are out of control on the chain.  Worst etiquette I’ve ever witnessed is from the bass pros in Madison.  After he left in 15 minutes I was able to resume fishing the spot.  Ended up with 11 perch 5 crappies and 2 legal walleyes in a 3 hour bite window.  By 10 the fish completly shut off.  They were till there just lock jawed.

Lots of folks looking for the gils on the north end, but not many sticking around too long, they must not have found them.  We found the toothies we were looking for; had an enjoyable 2 mornings drifting with the wind and setting the hook.  Sunday a couple of older guys decided to anchor right in front of our drift path, that was a little annoying, so I slid west of them.  Then, when they decided to move, they did it again!   Then I slide east of them, which proved more fruitful that going west of them, so thanks, but if you are convinced I know where the gills are, anchor behind me, not in front of me.

The bass tourney launches always interesting to watch.  Water temps were 63ish.

Weed Beds
Started fishing in 6FOW about 7AM . Picked up 1 gill in 45 min . Moved around for about 2 hrs looking for more gills . Finally found active gills not far from where we started . But in 4FOWlarge opening in the weed mat . We left with 41 gills ranging from 7.5" to 9.5" . We left at about 4PM .
On a side note , what appeared to be a bass tournament was going on . When they all rushed in to the landing , more then one was alot closer then 100' .
Forgot to mention, when we got there surface temp was 61 . When we left it was 68.

Could anyone tell me if the bait place on the road down to lake farm has opened?  They have a self serv crawler and worm machine. If opened do they have both?  Thanks in advance.
