Richland-Chambers Reservoir

GOOD. Water clear; 57 degrees; 2.32 feet below pool. White bass are good using a slab and jig combination near Pelican Island and on main lake humps and points in 25-35 feet of water. Only a slight movement of the slab is required, paying close attention for a light bite. Most days fish are hugging the bottom. Hybrid stripers are fair and are most often being caught in the same locations as the white bass. Eater size blue and channel catfish are good and continue to be the best bet to consistently catch fish. No reports of any large hybrid stripers being caught, but undersized fish are mixed in with the white bass. Cooler weather will continually increase the action in the late fall for both whites and hybrids.
