GOOD. Water normal stain; 50 degrees; 3.64 feet above pool. Crappie are good in 14-16 feet of water fishing deep stumps or channel swing in Heron Creek, Rochelle Creek or around the dam with jigs and minnows. Bass are good in 12-20 feet of water in the creek channel swings or standing timber predominately on Texas or Carolina rigs, with a few on chatterbaits and crankbaits. White bass are biting in the same areas as the crappie and bass on lipless crankbaits and blade baits. Catfish are biting in the creek channels with cut bait or worms. FAIR. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 3.68 feet above pool. The lake is low, so navigate with caution. The winds have been gusty, so target those wind blown points for bass with soft plastics. The weather should be beautiful for fishing before the forecasted rain hits Sunday or Monday. Crappie are fair on submerged structures with the jig bite improving. Catfish are good on cut bait, nightcrawlers and minnows.
