For additional angling information in northcentral Iowa, contact the Clear Lake Fish and Wildlife Office at 641-357-3517.

Lake levels are rising with recent rains. The current level is 6 inches below the spillway. Wayer temperature is 52 F.

Walleye - Fair: Anglers continue to catch some Walleye near shallow rocky habitat using jigs and live bait. Evening fishing has been the most productive.

Yellow Bass - Fair: Anglers are starting to catch some Yellow Bass while targeting other species. Once water temperatures warm into the 60's, action should improve.

Black Crappie - Fair: A few crappie have moved into rush the beds. Small jigs and live bait fished slowly is working the best.

Largemouth Bass - Fair: Bass are in the rush beds. Jigs and plastics pitched in vegetation pockets is a good technique.
