goodhuntin all!
Wow, what has happened to the waterfowl forum? Where is everyone? Where is the usual crowd from years past? Why the minimal posts? This would almost make you think guys gave up waterfowl hunting. But I have been out in the fields and on the water (almost 50% less than last year). Appears to be no shortage of guys there? Thought I was the only one that just didnt have the time to browse and/or post on LL this year?
It has been a tough year so far. Most problems, self inflicted. Lack of prep, scouting and time. And obviously weather being the biggest problem this year. It's been two slow hunts for every one good hunt? But with the lack of trips out it sure makes me appreciate being out no matter what. Finally seeing more birds show up, as of last weekend. See what happens hopefully the weather cooperates? Good luck.
Now to see if it works? First time submitting a post on the new LL setup?
Slower weekend for me. As in time in the blind. Hunted Sunday morning worked one flock of mallards. Missed one Buffy had to leave by 9. Heard a few early shots again. Dropped two and my day was over not long after. Saw a decent number of geese n mallards. A few divers showing up as well
