I keep reading about guys fishing Walleyes in the weeds, but they never talk about presentation.  How do you guys fish them?

First is with a slip bobber and a jig. In clearer lakes with deeper weeds I'll concentrate on the outside AND inside weed edge. Darker lakes I'll generally spend most of my time on the outside weed edge. There are a few exceptions. Early in the season when the weeds are still short I'll fish over the weed tops.

When weeds are sparse ( i.e. big leaf cabbage) or very dense ( i.e. deepish well developed coontail) I'll fish a #6 hook and a nightcrawler. No sinkers, no jigs, no weight. I'll slowly work the crawler thru or over the weeds.

This is general info but it should get you started.
