So I got tired of catching all the little brook trout and made the decision to go back to where I know there are big brown trout are at! I figured, Why not? And I was really glad I did I caught some nice big ones and it felt great! Even caught a Brown Trout with a big, deep hole in its head! I Had a minor spill and swim at the end but it's all good just a day of fishing

I decided to take a long hike up a creek I have never fished before and it was an experience like no other! The creek was TINY and was overgrown the water was shallow and the holes were few and far between but I did end up catching a bunch of trout! I even ended up catching one in a tree LOL it was a race against daylight in this video and I lost, I ended up way deep in the woods pitch black without a flashlight uugh what a mess
I got up nice and early to take a quick trip to the stream for a bit of fishing before an appointment I had later that morning and had one doozy of a day too From climbing trees to getting stabbed through the foot by a board covered with sand and a big nail sticking out of it OUCH!
Happy Memorial day everyone! I knew it was going to be the impossible dream to think my favorite spots were not going to be stomped through but I finally at about 10am dragged my butt out of the house and was off to the stream! When I got there I tried every spinner I could think of and NOTHING! So I busted out the old reliable Rapala Countdown and caught a whole mess of fish!
I was looking for somewhere to go and catch something different than trout so I googled different areas looking for a warm water discharge somewhere near my area to get on some bass fishing and maybe a stray northern pike or catfish that might have gotten over the dam and shot out through the spillway! I found an old post from a while back of a guy catching a 4lb largemouth in the area
