Can you make pike like you make Lox?Parasites? anyone tried this

Freshwater fish is always a roll of the dice uncooked.  As far as the freezing goes it's my understanding it needs to be flash frozen in an industrial blast freezer that goes much colder than your standard home fridge to kill parasites.  I'd do some googling before attempting.  Not sure you'd end up with anything close to Lox though even if you make it due to differences in the fish.  Salmon and trout always seem to be much more oily than your standard white fleshed fish and ​a whole different texture.

I would freeze the fish if you think worms are an issue. Freezing will affect the texture thou.
