Crappie Lakes

I have been a game fish fishermen all my life - Bass, Walleye, Musky.  I am in my seventies and have never fished for Crappie.  I would like to learn and be able to take my grandson fishing.  Can anybody message me on what lakes are good for crappie in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin?  Need help.  Please Message.  Thanks in advance and be careful out there.

lake Delavan and Geneva are good for Crappies

Shabbona or the chain of lakes in Illinois is good for Crappie  it should really start picking up once the rain stops and the water gets lower.
