Fish sure are big in Green Bay.

Too bad this one was found dead a day later, put on a bump board and was only 55.  Only.

Don't know why someone needs to embellish a 55 inch fish.

Why would a long time musky fisherman use a vertical hold?

Pretty crappy pics for a fish of a lifetime. Not saying I don't believe it, but the shutter on the DSLR would be worn out before the release.

Rough hold on the fish too. I know, I know, but that's a lot of weight to hold by a gill.

Just my two cents.

Vegas,

What was done with the dead fish after it was found?

Pretty easily when you have the markings of the fish and the relative location where it was caught.

Big fish. How can they be sure the dead fish is the same one?
