We would have to wear orange flags on our back in the snow. Snow was so high cars could not see us getting ready to cross the street and we liked it. We got so much snow we could go on to the top of buildings on the snow bank the plows made in parking lots. And we liked it. When I gave an order for the site to follow they followed cause we had no cell phone and no email and we liked it! We got our fishing reports by an old phone that you had to spin the dial and we liked it. Bills were less and no cell charges or internet and cable bills and we liked it. Let hear some stories.

My brother and I got into the bb gun battles for a while. That had to end when we decided golf balls would be our back up for when we ran out of bb ammo.  Golf balls have too much potential than BB's for inflicting pain.  I think inflicting some pain on each other was our goal but not serious injury and we came too close to that when he whacked me a hard one to the head.

Did y'all not have BB gun wars? about 9-11 years old we decided picking off songbirds & chippers too easy...
The guys with those shoot, recock, like 700 bb capacity thought they were cool, till I showed up with my pump...
At first I was king of the block as I could get off five to their one... but soon they discovered mine was tube fed, only held like 25, and took awhile to load...no safety glasses, no precautions, just glad it never graduated to pellet guns...

Ha, you can't say c o c k on LL without activating foul language mode- hence recock

Ya Bud, we use to beat each other with the nunchucks doing our best Kung Fu/ Bruce Lee imitations.  I remember once kicking a friend right thru a door and destroying it. Started running and he got up and threw a throwing star at me which imbedded in the back of my skull. . It was a great throw, for sure. We had a good laugh after that. Some alcohol may have been involved.

I remember growing up in the 60's, and there was always several guys at school with casts on there arms or stitches, at any one time. How often do you see a cast on a kid nowadays? That may not seem bad, but these kids now are covered in bubble wrap their whole childhood.  Then they get older and kill themselves doing stupid stuff because they never learned common sense. We used to race motorcycles off road after school with nothing but a helmet,  and sometimes not even that. You learned pretty fast that doing something stupid put you in a world of pain.

I also have one,& use it when I’m fixing spots in the lawn like Zmaniac.
It really does a nice job with breaking up the soil before,& after I put down grass seed.

Got a good story from when I was younger. My uncle was only four years older than me and he was pretty much like my brother even more so than my brothers. One day my grandmother told him to do something, and for some reason he snapped, he was probably about 13 or 14 years old. he started yelling and screaming stuff and I was looking at him and I’m like you better not do that. My grandmother started walking towards him and he took off running, and he went to the stairs running out of the kitchen, my grandmother grabbed a beer can threw it, hit him in the back of the head . It was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I almost died laughing. It was a Pap an old Milwaukee can I cannot remember.

My little brothers were lushes. They would run up to my dad on the farm and swig off his beer. Then he would bish he had no beer. I did as well but was older. 12 at least. We did they to my grandfather as well. Dad usually had a cold one. 36 yrs at ladish triclover then in the fields after work. 80 hours a week during onion and cabbage season at least. And we used to bosh when we had to go get a tractor from a field or shoot raccoons or chucks.
