Who's got one ? what are you growing ? and how's it coming along? Mine consists of sweet corn , cabbage , brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli ,cucumbers, zucchini, peas, tomatoes , peppers , acorn squash, pumpkins, and assorted spices. The cold wet weather hasn't been very conducive to good growth so far for me. But with warmer weather in the forecast things should turn out. I hope those of you growing fair better.

Planted the 8x8 garden annex a couple weeks ago. Built a temporary greenhouse over it to protect against early frost. Only had to have the heater on in there twice. Stuffs growing great. On a 57 degree day, it was 91 degrees in the greenhouse. Just from sun warmth. Really stimulates the plants at that temperature. Moved the transplants out into the shed to toughen up the boys for their trip outside into the elements soon
Bummer Skillz! I was looking forward to see how those potatoe seeds turned out.
We got our first planting of corn in and should have radishes in 3-4 weeks. Retilled the pumpkin patch and got the new sweet potatoe and viney plant patch worked up today. Things are really starting to roll, we will be begging for it to slow down in another 8 weeks!

BMR, a good gardener always pushes it a little bit! Dane county here, nothing under 40 at night for the next few weeks (extended weather forecast). The row covers will add 2-8 degrees and keep any frost off. Might put some clear jugs filled with water in there, they will absorb heat during the day and give heat off at night (similar to a wall o water) it's 75 degrees here now, good tomato growing weather!
BMR, good luck with the celery! I am trying that also this year, have one plant in grown from a store bought celery stalk. Also have 10 plants in I got at Home Depot. Nothing better than fresh celery! I planted 3 early Girl tomatoes outside today under row cover, yes, I'm pushin it a bit. I really like the row cover, grew spinach & onions through the past winter under it, they did well in below freezing temps. Some much needed rain here today, that will get things going!
