yeah bobber, I knew last game was gonna be an anomaly.....that continuation at the end of the 3rd the pacers got on the fast break was....unreal......The Bucks have had that wiped away over and over all year...I bet easily over 50 times, This game they just didnt want to call the contact on our shots or our drives to the basket and the contact was certainly there over and over again.
This game was, well....gross.
Without actually knowing the injury Giannis is dealing with, and none of us do know....its totally unfair to place blame on him, he has a looooong history of putting it all on the floor when dealing with injuries....go back to the suns series as a prime example of his willingness to push through pain for the team....that hyperextension of his knee was no minor scrape. The guy was playing hurt much of the year, did he take games off LeBron style?....nope, he missed a grand total of what, 6 games all season.
I just hope this disaster of a season doesnt see him moving on.....I still say, firing coach bud was the biggest mistake this franchise has made in decades....the team never had the continuity of the previous seasons, none of the comradery and they never got one the same page either defensively or offensively aside from a few flashes......when we got Dame, it had many of us drooling about the pick and roll opportunities...but they never figured out how to make that work effectively....that was a, no the major disappointment offensively IMO.

Down 20 and looking like they're done. Just my opinion but I lost some respect for Giannis the last few games. I don't know how bad he's really hurt but looks to move around fine on the side lines and DR says he's really close to playing.. Maybe he couldn't play even near as good as normal but just being out on the court could act as a huge decoy and might really open up their other players. Oh well, he has plenty of time to sit the couch now.
Excellent synopsis Desonex. Hopefully you guys all turned over to Tnt/tbs to hear Shaq, Sir Charles , Kenny’s take on game. I always try to do that, even tho Bucks live is factual, it ain’t humorous. All three guys agreed the Pacers were in trouble now, that they will have to re-group and win in Indy or else!
Also reviewed Knicks /Sixers. What a game thst was, Maxily has become the soul of that Sixers team. Making that logo three to tie game. Guess he played like 52 minutes as well.

What a difference a day makes! First qtr was more of the same...but after that everything changed!
Offense moved the ball well, made the right passes and most importantly, hit their shots...open shots and contested ones...good to see mids play well even if he did turn the ball over a few times, his shot was falling, and his d was on point...same for Portis....he really wore down Siakim and stayed in control....Bev had a good game and Beasley finally found his shot...its been a while.
But the real difference was the change in the defensive approach.....they played up on the ball more, kept their hands up (something they weren't doing) and most importantly, actually rotated to the ball like they should have been doing all year....it was a real breath of fresh air (and I hope it sticks)....this forced the Pacers into shots later in the clock and playing at a little slower pace and it really showed.
Props to Gallanari...he played well despite being a bench ornament much of his time here.
On the ref side, I was amazed...even with the notoriously crooked Scott Foster as the head ref, they actually called a pretty unbiased game IMO....possibly the first time I have seen that this entire playoffs (not just the bucks, but league wide)...its good to see they are actually capable....I am not holding my breath though...lol. It was literally shocking to see fouls on drives actually being called for Milwaukee. Lillard had to be wondering where that has been...haha...that guy gets more free throws taken from him than any player I have ever seen.
Onto the next game.

Think it’s ours boys! Up by 23 with 5 minutes. If they were down by this much we’d be switching channels. Game six time Thursday time TBD.
Proud of the crowd, loudest ever! Bobbie was crunch time hero and Beasley found his stroke.
Gonna need all even better Thursday.
Go Bucks
