Scotch whiskey related items. What are your favorites.

This can include all whiskeys that are not bourbon. Irish, Japanese and malt whiskies. This 16 year is incredible. Very smooth. 

Well I finally uncorked my Eagle Rare bottle and had this whiskey for the first time ever.  Harder than heck to find but worth the wait. I taste butterscotch and then cinnamon red hots on the finish. I see what the hype is all about. 

1792 aged 12 years. What’s going on? It’s an incredible bottle. The aroma has berries, cinnamon, caramel and spice. The taste has brown sugar caramel spice and vanilla. Did I say this in incredible bottle? I’m just finishing this a little bit up on this bottle. 

Having one of my all-time favorites, Caribou Crossing single barrel! What an incredible Canadian whiskey. This bottle is really nice. I’m getting the marshmallow, vanilla, toffee and just a hint of spice. Just phenomenal. The aroma is a sweet vanilla and caramel. One of my all-time great

Pick this up today was told one of the best batches by them. It's Batch 35. Has Anyone had the chance to try?

So taking the last couple hits off this knob, Creek 15 year limited edition 100 proof. Excellent cinnamon, cherry, chocolate and oak. This has been a great bottle.

After a hard day, work in the yard repairing fence, mulching, weeding, and building cages. I think a pour of Blantons is an order! Probably have some chocolate malt bowls, double chocolate with it as well. This bottle of Blantons is pretty spicy.

Bass thanks for the review on the Jack Daniels Single Barrel Proof Rye. I am not a Jack fan but have been intrigued by that one.  I was wondering since it is a rye and at 131 proof I was concerned it would be all hot spice and no sweetness to it.
I was fortunate enough to buy my first bottle of Weller Special Reserve today for 35 bucks. I was too cheap to open it tonight as it took me forever to find a bottle at a reasonable price 🤣 Ended up consuming some Teeling tonight.

Jack Daniels single barrel barrel proof rye. For Jack Daniels it is not that bad. It’s a $50-$60 bottle. There’s raisin, caramel, cinnamon and black pepper. Your taste are very similar. It’s not an overwhelming pepper flavor. It’s an interesting bottle. I will critique more in the future on this bottle.
