That’s a pretty popular picture. I’ve never heard of Old English so I goggled it. That picture was used quite a few times for various things.

Midland Painted Turtles.   FWIW, the turtle coming up onto the log in the left pic is a male.  In the middle pic, the left turtle is a male, the right turtle is a female.  In the last pic, left to right on the log...male, female, male

The boys had a couple of friends over today. 

Catching crappies through the ice on Rapala jigging raps all week long.

First day in the water 2 /21/24 with the boat...  fishing was slow but I did manage a few crappies.

 

I have several LeLure top water baits still in the package, and others that I still fish with from time to time.  They were/are simply awesome baits.  Back when LeLure was still manufacturing lures, the wife of one of my duck hunting buddies was the one who painted LeLure baits.  She was very good at it.
