Team USA beats Sweden today 6-2 in the Gold Medal game in the World Jr Ice Hockey Championships being held in Sweden. Isaac Howard of Hudson Wi scores 2 goals in the game for team USA. Howard was named MVP in the game. Way to go Isaac and team USA!
Senior Nationals this weekend.. Young man from West Bend high School qualified for Olympic trials.. Beat a former NCAA champion Max Dean.. Held his own against another former NCAA champion Mark Hall.. Both him and his brother Cole heading to Penn State.. Best of luck to both of them.. Crazy seeing highschool wrestlers competitive with current or former NCAA champions..
Thought perhaps after beating Nebraska in the second meeting they could pull off the National Championship , unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. Seemed a bit off by a half step & half second against Texas. Fun to watch & will be supporting them again next year. Go Bucky

No Brewers tonight but there is a really good Little League World Series game starting at 6:00 on ESPN. El Segundo Ca plays Seattle Wa with the winner going to the USA championship on Saturday. I’ve been watching all week and have seen some great baseball from these kids.
