If you like watching birds or have any comments about a cool bird in your yard or something, this would be a good place to discuss anything to do with birds.

Whooping Crane sighting again.  Same field as the 4/12/24, assuming it's the same bird.  Took me 46 years for my first Whooping Crane sighting, then less then 3 weeks for my second.    It was with 5 Sandhills this morning and very close to the road, so I got a clearer picture this time.

Saw my first Orioles here yesterday too

Ice that turkey looks like it may be ill.

Lots of birds today while turkey hunting. Hooded warbler, redstart, catbirds, kinglets, cranes, and a tom with a 10 inch beard.  Great day.

More starlings this year than normal

Oriole fleet has arrived in the Lacrosse county area.
Thanks to all that posted there arrivals last few days.
Put some jelly feeders and oranges out yesterday for today's incoming. This evening the hummingbird feeders were deployed.
