I'm looking for some general information on the Spring steelhead fishing on Lake Michigan tributaries here in Wisconsin. I'm a new fly fisherman and looking to pursue steelhead this spring. Not looking for your hotspot or to crowd you out of your favorite stretch of river.
I'm looking for a general overview from experienced fisherman on the timing of the run and how it usually progresses in the state. Would be willing to travel as far as necessary to get on a few fish.
Would also consider a guide or going out with like minded outdoorsman for some guidance.
