Cabelas dog training collars Good or Bad??????

I am looking for my first electronic dog training collar and I was referred to the Cabelas GS 5000 and GS6000 series by a few people. My question is does anyone own one or can anyone make a recomendation for a good collar that has the following features: visual low level battery indicator, 1/2 mile range or less, waterproof, audible tone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using Dogtra products for 2 years and love them. Tri-Tronics is the only brand that I would choose over Dogtra. I have heard some negative feedback on the Cabela's brand collars, but don't have any personal experience.
