Lake Mendota Open Water

I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin and waiting for some open water cat fishing on Mendota. If you local guys could advise me when its open I would appreciate it. Cannot wait to catch some of those cats on Mendota. Thanks!

I bet you have found out some other way by now, but as of right now, Lake Mendota has been open for a week or two.
