General Bass Fishin' Discussion Thread

Just figured i would start this tread for any one who may have questions pertaining to Bass fishing or wanted to brag or share info on bass!!

Their reels are great, use them a ton with no problems. The Revo's are beyond SWEET!

I love everything abu. All my spinning reels have been cardinals. I bought a black max last year love it even. Even use for musky in a pinch. I'm thinking about getting a orra winch. A lot nicer then my same priced quantum.

Any of you guys abu garcia fans ? All my baitcasters but 1 are. Just bought the new revo beast, 7:1 means 29 in of line per crank. But has 22 lbs of drag and oversized handle. Thinkn new slop-froggn set up. Never had a bass swim at me thru slop or matted vegetation faster than i can reel. Any opinions ? Cant wait to try her.

After watching Al Lindners last show where he's fishing with Mark Fisher, I'm ready to try the new Shadow Rap. There's a few rocks on a smallie lake I'd like to pause it by in May!

I don't know about you guys but I wana drag plastic bad. Anyone using Carolina rigs recently? They seem to be losing popularity. I just rigged one up for some deep fast fishing. Its been years since using it as I'm a big dropshot and texas rig guy. Anyone still rocking it?

I will be fishing Rowleys bay for SM Bass in October. What are the best luers . I love tubes this time of year. Not a big live bait guy.

Looking for a bass fisher and weatherman. Yesterday I found some willing bass. The wind was from the sw and warm. Apparently a front has moved through and the wind is now predicted to be out of the wnw and rain. Soooooooooo How does this front effect the bass bite today if at all? Thanks for your time. 25427

Anybody fished the wisconsin dells area and got any bass tips I.E Baits or spots. i fish offshore a lot. any help would be greatly appreciated.
