August 6th big bass this was 6.8 lbs . The fishing has been real good for numbers size every once is surprising.
August 3rd caught the fish on a ledge fishing a ten inch worm. This bass weighed 8lb 6oz

Been doing good this year in my favorite lake in SE WI. Tubes (somke/purple flake), Rattle Raps (bluegill) and weedless wackey jig with a black Uncle Josh pork frog. Sorry Uncle Josh stoped making them..... brings a rear to my eye! This one has been the best of the year so far. Little over 20".
Major League Fishing just finished filming a series here on Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. I understand it will be on TV in January of 2017. The winner is real hush hush even the tournament was a big secret. I understand they caught over 750 bass all released alive as soon as they were scored. If you haven't seen the show it will be something to watch. This is the lake I guide on... It is a good one.
Just got back from Cedar Lake in Canada ! What a blast! We didn't catch any Molly Hog Smallmouths but we slapped them pretty good. We caught well over a hundred Smallies one day all on a Pop R Topwater fishing at its finest for sure.. Can't wait to go back..
