Side by sides.

Used  to have a 2012 8oo Ranger Now have a 2014 900 crew ranger.Both machines have plows and I've never had a problem with either one. Only bad thing is wearing out the tires because down by us it's about 90% highway for the trails.

Gonna start making my doors tomorrow for the defender.   Will be ordering windshield and back window this week

Have a 2014 Ranger 570 Mid crew with power steering. Been really good so far. Use it for plowing snow, ice fishing, and trail riding. I will buy another when the time arrives.

Bought a Dixie chopper 72 inch plow at auction for 150$ l.  Fabbed up plow mount today in nik of time from steel laying around garage.  success!  Cold beer here

I bought a new Yamaha Viking in 2014. Very happy with it. It's not the fastest thing out there, but then how fast do you need to go? I don't trail ride, it's pretty much for taking into the woods to cut fire wood, hauling deer and the occasional ride to a fish fry. I bought the camo w/EPS, added front windshield, back window, front brush guard and rear bumper, new tires and rims (28's) and winch. Top speed with the big tires on it is about 45 MPH. I have just over 1,000 miles on it. Very happy I bought it.

I work on cars daily. Don't wanna spend my off time repairing a used Jeep. Plus used pos jeeps still cost a good penny. 

Was originallylooking used. But everyone wanted top dollar for thier beat up 2000 mile machine.  Had one guy tell me he wanted 13k for his 2 year old ranger. Forgot how many miles it had. Said nah. Will just buy new.  Machine came with 3 year warrenty too

I liked all the options vs the ranger. I felt more comfortable in it. Just spent time to drive a viking( I was a yamaha guy, however was by far the worst),ranger and teryx4,honda 1000-5. Honda 1000-5 was sweet and would of worked perfect but was outta my price range. Ended up with the defender hd8 xt for 13900 otd.  

I too am looking for a side by side.  Curious, what were your reasons for buying the Defender, was it cheaper more powerful than something else?
