If you could pick just one Muskie lure, and thats the only lure you can use/bring with you what would you choose and why?

Definitely a body bait. (Like a Shallow Raider, Crane, Etc) The reason is because you can modify the presentation for the particular conditions you have. Spring - Twitch it. Summer - Crank it fast. Fall - Work it as a jerk bait. Yes, some of the other baits mentioned will do better during a particular time of year but not other times, and the question was one bait. Have a good day Smile

Suick...catches em in all conditions and waters....close second is a manta...also very versatile and they seem to move more fish than any lure I have ever used.

If I had to choose one lure. Hmm? I would take a 6" Big Fork SandCat in a sucker pattern. I've caught a ton of fish on this bait. But for me it the lure ability to catch fish from early spring to late fall that makes it so productive.

I would go with a manta. It has put hundreds of fish in my boat!

That is a very tough question. It is hard to argue with any of the answers below.

Ive been thinking about this ever since I posted. Still cant decide but Im leaning towards a black JR CG with nickle blades and a Chartreuse trailer. Maybe a walleye dawg. I dont know lol.
