If you could pick one person?

If you could pick one person to spend an entire day fishing with, other then a family member, who would it be, and why? For me, I would choose Al Lindner. I can't think of any other person who impacted my love for fishing more then Al. From the time of the Facts of Fishing Show, Lindy's Tackle, In'Fisherman, the PWT, and on to Lindners Angling Edge, he's the man!

I may agree with that idea. I lost my fishing buddy Friday the 13th of October, 1995. 2 weeks before his 25th birthday and 3 months after his wedding. Fell out of canoe and drowned while fishing on northern Wisconsin lake. Would give anything for one day on the water with him.

river_chaser - agreed … but … arrogant? How about hubris and worldwide thief? Anywho, I'd bet the fish are smart enough to throw him back.

Al Linder gets my vote not by much though. Beat Carrie Underwood by a smidge

Tough choice. I would have to say Brian Bro and I would like spend a week or two ice fishing "in search of perch" or "bull bluegills" with him.

On a cold November day with gale warnings I would take Alan Greenspan fishing on the middle of Lake Superior. Gently nudge that arrogant old goat overboard and slowly float away.

Did not see that part. just read the first few words and that's what popped into mind. Without him I wouldn't fish the way I do. Without him, who knows if I'd even fish.
