When I set it to take video it won't record it to sd card. It acts like it is because the led's will light up for the set time but theres nothing on the card. Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

Bushnell is ok, but for the price there are better options. I would look at spypoint, DLC Covert, or HCO scoutguard.

If you can wait till late spring, most cam manufacturers will have their new cam models available for purchase.

I am thinking about getting a Trophy Cam this year as I am tired of my cheap trail cams missing the pics, etc.. There are obviously much more expensive For those of you that have them, are they worth it? Any advice on specific model or other...?

yeah the cams only light up the center of the pictures. I have both a bushnell and cuddeback and the pictures are the same for the IR models. Hopes this answer your question.

It does light up a good amount of the photo, but I'm just wondering if it should be more. I'm new to this so i'm trying to figure out if it is right.

I am new to using Bushnell Cam's so I wanted to know if the pics should look the way that they do. I saw people say that the IR only shoots in the middle of the pic. Is the IR supposed to light up the whole pic? I posted a picture to show you guys. Let me know if this is what it should look like or should I send in my camera. Thanks for the help.

Wow...a lot of differences between you guys on what you got back...I am happy to see that you are getting customer service. I was told Cuddeback customer service sucks. I have a Trophy Cam and have never tried the video. I will next week because of your posts just to see if it works. It's good to know that if it doesn't I can send it back. I bought mine at Cabelas in May but it was the leftover 2010.

My camera has so far taken about 3,000 pics on the same set of 8 Energizer Lithium batteries since Memorial Day weekend. Out of 3,000, I had maybe a dozen white outs, 3 dozen blurry pics, and a couple hundred pics of (no animals) what I think is wind cause pics.

I've had Wildview, Stealthcam, Moultrie. This is by far the best I've had yet...

Thanks for reassuring me with your customer service!

Talked with Busnell customer service today, I let them know I was having 3 problems with my camera

1. takes pics continuously throughout the day 2. Video doesnt work 3. Infared only lights up middle of the photo

I asked if they will fix it or replace it with a new one. He told me that 95 % of the time they just replace it with a 2011 since electronics get tricky to fix and they had lots of trouble with 2010. Hope this is true!

Not an expert on that question, but I am pretty sure all of the 2011 ones have sound recording capabilities where the 2010 didn't. here are the 2011 model numbers from bushnell..119467C,119466C,119456C,119446C,119436C

I'm looking at getting a Bushnell Trophy Cam at the end of the month since my old cam just died on me. How does one tell the difference between the 2010 and 2011 models? I'm sure that they will only have 1 year's model on the shelves, so I need a good solid difference that you can just look at the cam and tell while it is still in the packaging.
