Look up The Dog Bone by Moore Outdoors and PRoduction. Jeremy has developed a shed dummy to train your dog to retrieve he also has seminars that will help you train them. He is always more than willing to help someone out if they have questions. He trains the dogs himself as well.

Make a game of retreiving a shed. Then start hiding it and making her find it. I would reward her with a treat when she finds and reteives it or she may start chewing it up as her reward. They make a fake shed with a bottle of scent to go with it, if you don't have a fresh one of your own to train with...............

does anyone have any tips on teaching my dog to find sheds, i know my dog will not be a master but anyone she finds is a plus

Even though bow season is still upon us, I am extremely excited to get out and find some sheds!!

Found this guy curled up under a cedar tree while rabbit hunting 2 years ago.

Found these in South Dakota back in October. A cougar kill, we believe.

Was out walking some property on Sat 12/8 and found this 7pt. had been dead for some time, yotes had cleaned him up pretty good. found my first shed last year on christmas day...

Time is getting near. My buddy shot a deer in Buffalo county this weekend and says the antlers were off that buck. My earliest ever were around Dec. 36th I'm ready.

Anybody know if they are starting to fall yet??

Anybody have any odd/broken sheds they'd like to donate to me and my dog for training aids?? I have a 10 month old pup that I have been/will be training to shed hunt. Looking very much forward to his first shed find!!

U have to find them early after snow melt, Critters will eat them up!!!

where do you guys find all your sheds? iv been doing this for 2 years now and have not had any luck. walked through woods walked through marsh. Nothing
