Last fall we planned an ice fishing trip out of La Crosse for next weekend (3/1/24). Not going to happen now but still coming to La Crosse.
Can we catch anything from shore? With waders?Perch walleye pike bass?

Spring perch/walleye trips will be starting sometime in mid March! We've got availabilityif you're interested in getting out, learning a bunch, and catching some beautiful fish in the process! Feel free to give me a call, thanks-Captain Adam Christianson
Ice is melting, so the spring perch madness can’t be too far off. I’m wondering if it’s possible to fish the perch run from somewhere other than below the dam. I’ll be trying to get Dad out again. He’s 81, and the best place we’ve found for getting him in and out of the boat is the French Island landing across from Copeland Park. I doubt he’ll want to be out more than a couple hours, so we won’t want to take the time to motor over to join the crowd at Dresbach.
I’m not looking for anyone’s honey hole; I guess I’m just asking about spring perch patterns. Either that or a suggestion for another launching point with something like the kayak platform on the Black River that has worked for us.

Took a drive up Fishermans Rd. this afternoon. Some a-hole dumped 3 small piles of asphalt across the access at the very end. They are close enough together to make getting a sled through difficult and small enough that they could get buried under a decent snowfall. Not sure if that is the responsibility of the Airport, the city, or county. It could probably be remedied easy enough with a sledgehammer but I do not own one. Watch where you're walking once the ice gets here.
Well with these temperatures lately it may not seem like it, but ice IS coming!! We're filling up rather quickly this season, but we do still have some openings! If you're looking to get out on the river this winter for the airboat experience, shoot me a text or give me a call to get you spot nailed down. Looking forward to seeing all of you on the hardwater SOON!
I want to start off by thanking all of you that fished with me this year.. I'm incredibly blessed to do what I do, and have the client base that I do. I'll never take that for granted, you're all incredibly appreciated! November 1st will be my last open water trip of the season. After 150+ open water trips, I need time to reset and get ready for ice. If you're interested in getting out on the airboat this winter, please get ahold of me! Have had a TON of calls lately and dates are filling in. Bite remains strong for perch crappies gills and eyes- more catching than fishing right now. Looking forward to another great ice season with all of you!!Tight lines- Captain Adam Christianson
Had a great time fishing with Adrenaline Guide service this past Wednesday. Went with my buddy and uncle that came up from Texas. Adam kept us on fish all day! We were catch most of the time. These fish were moving the entire time but Adam would keep with them with his 360 imaging. We ended up with a big pile of big crappies, perch and gills! Huge shout out to Adam and his right hand man Drew for a great time!

Hit pool 8 this morning. Tried deeper wing dams using minnows. Got 12 eyes and sauger. Kept 7. Kinda windy. Bite was fast then it quit. Had to be patient. Fishing float looked dead. Took a ride to the dam and not much going yet.
