Bottom Bouncer, aside from the Fox River from the mouth to the dam in DePere which is 1 over 28", you're allowed one walleye over 15" on Green Bay and its tributaries. It's under TRIBUTARY STREAMS TO GREEN BAY AND LAKE MICHIGAN (CONT.).
You're right about being more or less done fishing if you do keep one because it'd likely be pretty hard to claim you're targeting anything else unless you started trying for northern or bass.

The one fish over 28" is only in the Fox, you can keep one over 15" in Green Bay

Would loved to have been able to keep them, but season closes March 15.  All of the fish inhaled the baits.  One female eye was not going to live.  Wish we could have kept that one.

Boys weekend on the water.  We stayed at an Air BNB 2 doors away from the launch.  A very nice place with all of the comforts.  I highly recommend this place which can sleep up to 9 people.  PM me and I'll give you specifics.  Started out Saturday morning.  It was cold and windy although we were not the only boat out there.  Fished hard for 4 hours with just a couple of eyes to show for it.  2 very nice perch at 13 - 14".  Went in for lunch.  Decided to trailer the boat to a launch just north of Oconto.  The water level in Lake Michigan is very low and the launch was difficult for the big Ranger 621 with a 300 on it.  Kicked up a ton of silt trying to get out on the lake.  We caught a couple of 22 - 26" .  BTW  right now I believe only 1 walleye per person over 28" may be kept.  And if you keep one you must immediately stop fishing.  Perch season closed March 15.
Sunday morning woke up to sunshine and calm waters.  Fished out of Goeno's.  They were snapping.  We caught 2 28"+ right away then a couple under 26" but very chunky.  All females. Hard as a rock.  At one point I got a 24" then 3 big perch on 3 consecutive casts.  One was 15.5 " Then it got cloudy and the bite died.  We did pick up 7-8 more the rest of the day.  Purple hair jigs and chartreuse worked.  But rippin' raps of various colors did all the damage.  No live bait.  Even the perch took down rippin' raps.  Sunday vindicated us.  Bite should be good for 5-6 weeks.  BB
