Bays 6-8", Reefs/Basin 11", give or take, everywhere I drilled - Over 2 miles out.
Can post an update for all the Nancy's tomorrow.

After this weekend, the launches will be more sketchy as the ice softens up.

9 inches off nicolet rd south assylum bay getting very soft not all honeycomb but getting there plus the top couple inches in some spots are crap where water was sitting.probably be solid black and spongy honey comb if any ice left at all by 10th

Hope to get out one more time sat. on one of the small west side bays. These were from last sat. I'd like to know where Larry and Lance were fishing on his last show, looked shallow enough to fall thru andnot be over your head!

FYI - Battle on Bago fishing is cancelled! You can still hang out at the tent and party it up and blow your cash. Worst ice season ever!

How is the ice looking in cowling bay and out by garlic islland?? Also can you park on the side of road of indian point road. Going to be ip this weekend

It's an El niño year.

Weather now showing 48-54 next week Thur and Fri.

I'm 60 yrs old and grew up on Winnebago. We always would be out a few weeks before Christmas and driving out.  The past 4-5 yrs we have open water at Christmas and can barely get sturgeon spearing in before the ice is melting.

If people don't think things are changing..... 

Was out there today. Used my 4-wheeler with no problems. Launched from boat ramp In asylum.  

Lost blue 5 gallon pail full of fishing poles. Lost out of brothertown. Fell off sled set up tent and went back within 10 minutes and no bucket. Hoping some one picked up and will return. Had rod holders and lantern along with poles. 1 has sentimental value please call Dan if found  920-645-5261.

CJ,     Go to fish Tales bait shop in Oshkosh, get red spikes and Rosey red minnows and ask for directions to Asylum Bay,a few miles from there. 

Newer to fishing Winnebago. Looking for anywhere in Oshkosh, walking distance that would have perch and walleye thanks

Arrived at Cowling to a full parking lot this morning.  I actually got the last stall. Drove wheeler out today. Hit a different spot about 0.7 miles out. Immediately got a decent perch and a big crappie. Sat that spot out all day.Every mark bit today.Fished tip ups and jigging. They ate whatever was in front of them.Got a few on tip ups and most jigging. Bait, no bait, didn't matter. They were hungry. Just not big numbers. Very sporadic. Got one days limit between yesterday and today. Still fun. Ice only has a few days left with these Temps coming.Stay ssfe.
