winnebago kicked our butts today! i wanted to fish off the east side but my son wanted to try off neenah so he won out. we tried finding perch or walleyes by mansur, stevens, and haystack reefs using slips and jigs with crawlers but a sheep and one eye was all we got? we couldnt find perch anywhere so any tips are much appreciated!

haven't seen any reports in a while have the perch been biting or is it fairly slow yet .

Fished Tuesday 6:00-1:00. Tried 4 past productive spots from 10.5’ to 14’ of water. Caught a mixed bag of 8-10” perch and some 7-9” bluegill. Each spot also had plenty of undersized bluegill and perch in them as well as all the sheepshead you could catch. One spot did give up a bonus of two 15” walleye. Also caught a dozen or so of those 9-12” young walleye. Dead stick and slip bobber worked equally well with crawler pieces or worms for bait. Keeping the bait tight to the bottom and frequently jiggling the pole or bobber seemed to trigger more bites. When it was dead calm dragging the bait on bottom side to side worked well. 

fleet farm in waupaca and stevens point has them. they are like a bigger reddish orange wax worm very durable. I have kept them in the refi for weeks at a time,with the right temp.

how long will those butter worms last in fridg and do they stay on the hook fairly well  never used them

Can anyone share where they get butter worms? I usually put my boat in at Grundman park but the landing is closed. I live in De Pere so the quickest landing for me is Jefferson park. I've looked for them in Green Bay area with no luck. Anywhere in Appleton have them?

Perch fished today from 6-1. Started on Abrhams. marked fish with Megalive. Very tentative. Not schooling. Caught 5 keepers.Most in 14'. Some dinks and an 8" gill. Moved around Abraham's deep/shallow. No luck. Went around long point. 1 Perch. Many goats in both areas. Crawler or Butterworms both did the best they could. Lake was flat calm. A little wind might have helped. Was there 4 days ago with a little wind and kept 14 fish between 9&12"
